An airplane deviates from the runway at an aerodrome in South Korea.

Firefighters conduct extinguishing operations on an aircraft that veered off the runway at Muan International Airport in Muan, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, on Dec. 29.  

The Jeju Air jetliner, which was transporting 175 passengers and six crew members, collapsed upon touchdown at the airport in Muan county shortly after 9 a.m. local time on Sunday .
